The Beginning

You already know some Python or have visited our Python Class Part 1? You want to know more and dive deaper into the world of Python? This is your start.

What you will learn

• Object-oriented programming
• Reading & writing files
• Popular Python libraries and how to use them.
• 1-2 projects chosen during the course, e.g. data processing & visualization, game programming, web scraping & saving results to database, testing code with code.

What you will get

In our courses, we combine theory with interactive training. Extensive exercises are therefore part of the course. In the advanced course you will also get an understanding of how to develop more extensive projects in Python. This is a good basis to continue on your own.

Your Teacher

Your course instructor is Josefine. She is currently a department manager for Data Engineers at the Otto Group. “In the area where I work, we develop data and machine learning solutions for e-commerce. Programming with Python is therefore absolute everyday work, especially also in my previous role as Data Scientist. I got my start in computer science with a dual study program together with IBM. Due to my interest in data-driven applications, I then specialized in a Master’s degree in Advanced Analytics.” You can read more about Josefine on our blog here.
