Research assistant at the research unit for legal technology and doctoral candidate at Humboldt University Law School Valeria is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the research unit for legal technology. She studied at the European University Viadrina and Humboldt University in Berlin and holds a law degree. Valeria works on legal implications regarding legal tech-applications with focus on data protection requerements. As part of her reaserach, she examines the business models of the legal tech providers and is in constant contact with Startups. In the legal area the hype surrounding smart contracts and Blockchain has arrived. In her work she also deals with the distiction between blockchain and legal tech.
